Spider of Death!

While James and I were setting up our fake spider webs for Halloween we saw this ferocious spider near our apartment. My heart stopped and I did not know what to do with such a huge thing. We were affraid to squish him just in case there were babies on his back. My idea was for James to get a glass bottle so we could take it far far far far away from our home.

James, my hero, concluded that it must be dead because it was in the middle of no where, and it had not moved in a long time. He grabed a piece of paper and poked it. The spider's leggs moved a little, but thank goodness it was dead!

James placed the spider on the paper and we took it to the street just in case it came back to life.

Last Sunday Evening

The following pictures are of what James and I love to do on Sunday evenings when there is no one to visit, and nothing really to do. James built a horse drawn space ship using every single piece of lego that he currently has. I built a tower out of domioes, and then we both built a domino train. We love our sunday evenings together :)

our cute apartment in Logan!

Picture #1: The front of our apartment. We live downstairs, and there are 3 college girls upstairs.

Picture #2: Our beautiful backyard!

Picture #3: The front/living room, and our 46 inch big screen t.v. that we bought at DI for only $45! It works great! The only down side is that it takes about 5-10 min. to warm up :)

Picture #4: This is our bathroom vanity.

Picture #5: Now on to my favorite part of the apt. The kitchen! It is very big, has a lot of cupboard space, very nice counter tops, and a large pantry that can not be seen from this picture.

Our lives

It's been a long time since we have updated our blog! We just wanted to let you know what we are doing. James recently got a job at western watts. Which he doesn't love, but it helps pay the bills. He is going to school at Bridgerland applied technology college on Tues, wed, and Thurs in the evenings from 6-9pm. He also goes to school at USU on Mon, wed, and Fri mornings. James is a very busy man!
I, on the other hand, do not find myself as busy. I work at Edith Bowen Laboratory Elementary School on campus in a first grade class, and I absolutely love it! I get to work with the children a lot and i have so much fun doing it. Of course it is not all fun and games; those kids can get out of hand easily if the right actions are not taken, and sometimes that takes a lot of energy! I get paid $11 an hour, but i am only allowed to work 15 hours a week. If i work anymore than that I simply do not get paid for those hours. This is both inconvenient for me and the teacher i work for. But i can't complain too much, because I really enjoy every moment that I'm there. As for school, I am taking 14 credits at USU and I'm working my hardest. I got 90% on my most recent midterm! Yeah!
That's us for now.

Yeah! I finally got it to work

It has been a very long time since we could get into our blog becuase we couldn't remember which email address we used. Either way, it's good to be back :)
